I am ashamed to go here, even though it is affordable; it comes at a cost...The animals here are treated horribly, the African grey is very obviously depressed, his food has to sit in the heat the entire day, he is never taken out or has anyone to socialise with. The summers here are extremely hot especially this current one (due to climate change) and there is only an AC at the front of the store, all the animals are visibly sweating and can barely move due to the heat inside the store. The rabbits are very thin and the budgies are crammed into a cage. The fish are in plastic bags or in terrible smelling tanks. I spoke to a woman there and told her the animals are sweating and that it was very cool at the front of the store but not in the back, she looked at me disgusted and told me "I am just working here" and had an extremely terrible attitude towards us after we made a comment about the animals.
