Ein wunderschönes und Stilvolles Speiselokal.
Man betritt das Restaurant und wird mit vielen 5 armigen Kerzenleuchter welche überall im Restaurant verteilt aufgestellt sind in Empfang genommen.
Heute hatte ich mit Freunden das Restaurant besucht, da wir ein Whisky Tasting gebucht hatten.
Gemütlich war im oberen Bereich ein Platz für uns reserviert, vorbereitet die ca 15 verschiedenen Whiskysorten präsentiert.
Der Barkeeper führte das Tasting durch und glänzte hier durch sein fachliches Wissen.
Immer wieder zwischendurch wurden verschiedene Flammkuchen serviert welche hervorragend schmeckten.
Geht man als Whisky Laie in das Tasting ist man am Ende TOP über die vielen verschiedenen Arten der Whisky und deren Herkunft informiert.
Beginnend welches Glas man benutzen sollte bis hin was der Unterschied zwischen Irischen und Schottischen Whisky ist!
Rundum ein gelungener Abend!
Und wenn ich auf die Teller der anderen Gäste geschaut habe, weiß ich das ich wiederkommen werde!

Seit 8 Wochen haben neue Inhaber die Ratsstube in Brühl übernommen. Es gibt ein dauerhaftes Menü und ein täglich (!) wechselndes Menü. In Kürze werden auch Rum, Whiskey und Gin Tastings angeboten. Die Inhaber sind sehr freundlich und die Atmosphäre ist angenehm. Das Essen schmeckt lecker, aber hier sprechen die Bilder für sich! Gerne wieder - vor allem zum Tapas Donnerstag!
