I was looking forward to this match, not only for its own sake, but also for my visit to this magnificent city. I was last here 7 years ago and the feeling was almost the same as the first time! Magical!
????????????????????????????
This match was as magical as the city itself, until the last second of tension and a goal in the 95th minute for the Bremen musicians.

It was worth every second. The atmosphere in the stadium was fantastic and poetic.

Beautiful stadium home to one of the best and most famous clubs in German football. Lebenslang Grün Weiß.

Alé alé SVW! To go see a Bremen game while visiting the city can be a nice idea. The atmosphere is charming and I would have brought my child to the stadium without any fear as everyone was just polite and clearly there to simply have fun. Nice mood, never seen in an Italian stadium ????

Beer is somewhat cheap, and the stadium itself is relatively small, so just be advised that if you choose the Bremen fans sector and you are unlucky enough to end up seaten behind the supporters flags you will see pretty much nothing of the match. That's bummer and no kind of prevention is done to avoid that.

Also it is really difficult to walk through people to reach the toilet or the bar.

Artists that have performed at the stadium include Bon Jovi, Michael Jackson, Tina Turner, Depeche Mode, Metallica, The Rolling Stones, Guns N' Roses and Van Halen, among others.
The stadium originally included an athletics track, but that was partially removed in 2002 when the pitch was sunk by 2.1 metres (6 ft 11 in) and the stands at the straights were lengthened to the new pitch. With this the capacity rose with about 8,000 places.[7] In 2004 four office towers were built behind the north stand. These towers offer a restaurant and offices for the club and local companies.
Starting in 2008 the stadium was completely rebuilt. The façade was coated with photovoltaic panels and a new roof was built on top of the old roof supporting structure (the old roof itself was torn down). Both ends (east and west) were torn down and rebuilt parallel to the endline of the pitch, removing what was left of the old athletics track.

Dispite Werder is not the biggest football club of Germany but it is one of the most classy clubs. Also the stadium and fans looks amazing!

Had tickets for Bremen v Bayern. Hadn't been here in almost 8 years. The atmosphere is much better and the fans are behind the team all the time. Very organized. Easy in-and-out.
