Very nice place with great atmosphere, good beers and decent meals. English spoken, however there wasn't English menu which would make the last star :)

It has above average food. I am not really a beer ???? drinker but the beer tasted fine ( not as good as Hofbräuhaus in Munich). You can also have a guide explaining the process of brewing beer with amazing details!

Very cool craft beer place with a large selection of beers. If you want to go for dinner it's best to ring ahead as it does fill up.

Excellent beer (wide variety), great food, friendly staff. Definitely a must for a beer lover (and his or her friends in search of a good dinner).
On Monday evening, the place was almost deserted; well, it's a large place, so that's to be expected. Oh, and it's a very nice place as well.
They have about ten beers of their own on taps (and in bottles); I've tried the tasting board of five and then two more beers - all of them were very good. The porter was on a bit of a weaker side while still great - less porter-y than one usually gets (fairly light so less coffee and caramel); the ales on the other hand were superb (there's definitely a reason why their pale ale and IPA got international awards).
To eat, I had the pulled pork burger. Setting aside that I don't get why people insist on making pulled pork burger (you can't really eat it with your hands, so what's the point?), it tasted really great. As did their fries - not typical chips, but rather very thick crisps.

Nice brewery with a good restaurant! A place to have a good time.
The building itself is nice, only downside that the brewery is not very well located. You need to walk some minutes from the bus and train station.

The service was ok, the beers I personally LOVED Pale Ale, and the place is just beautiful, the atmosphere is really calm, is a place for people of all ages, and the sweet potato fries were REALLY GOOD. We'll definitely come back.

If you're a craft beer fan then this establishment is a must visit in Bremen. Not far from Bus and Tram stops but was glad I had Google maps for walking directions in the dark. The site is huge with a number of bars/beer halls and it was buzzing at the time of my visit with private Christmas parties. Although busy I was able to get a seat at the bar and order food. I recommend you ask for a three or five beer taster tray so you can find what you prefer. My favourite was the Swabbie IPA...really full of hops and relatively strong at 6.8%. Friendly bar staff and they even supply an English menu so no probs if your knowledge of German is limited! There's also a gift shop at the back of the main building in the courtyard...selection of all Union beers and other bits. Also a local distiller sells all kinds of spirits and liqueurs so there really is something for everyone's taste. At the time of writing the shop is open between 4pm and 8pm so don't leave it too late to buy those gifts!
