But not only that: When I picked it up, I just threw into the room that for a few years I had actually wanted tilt valves instead of rotary valves. Unfortunately, there is nothing that can be retrofitted from Rocket. In the twinkling of an eye, the tinkering spirit was awakened and on the same evening (Friday) within 1.5 hours it was shortened, filed and installed and I probably have one of the few, if not the only Rocket R58 with tilt valves. Research in advance didn't get me any further, but a visit to Stockmann and Reinhardt did. A dream that I had for 3 years was fulfilled here within a very short time and it is also great fun.

Well, it has a little aftertaste: I am missing an important argument at home that I could get another machine someday. In comparison, the € 100 was still damn well invested. Hats off, I will always come back.

Einfach mega gut. Ich selbst habe eine Rocket R58 die nun seit vielen Jahren das erste Mal zur Reparatur musste. Die Maschine wurde umgehend angenommen und wurde binnen ein paar Tagen fertig gemacht. Aber nicht nur das: Beim Abholen, hatte ich nur mal in den Raum geworfen, dass ich seit ein paar Jahren eigentlich gerne Kippventile anstatt der Drehventile wollte. Nachrüstbar von Rocket gibt es da leider nichts. Im Handumdrehen wurde da der Tüftlergeist geweckt und noch am gleichen Abend (Freitags) binnen 1,5 h wurde gekürzt, gefeilt und montiert und ich habe vermutlich eine der wenigen, wenn nicht vielleicht sogar die einzige Rocket R58 mit Kippventilen. Recherchen im Vorfeld haben mich nicht weitergebracht, ein Besuch bei Stockmann und Reinhardt aber schon. Ein Traum, den ich seit 3 Jahren hatte, wurde hier innerhalb kürzester Zeit erfüllt und rießen Spaß macht's damit auch.

Nunja, einen kleinen Beigeschmack hat's: Mir fehlt jetzt ein wichtiges Argument zuhause, dass ich mir irgendwann doch noch mal ne andere Maschine zulegen könnte. Im Vergleich dazu waren die 100€ aber trotzdem verdammt gut investiert. Hut ab, ich werde immer wieder kommen.

Hier hat man einen sachkundigen Ansprechpartner, wenn es um das Thema Siebträgermaschinen und Zubehör aller Art geht.
Einige Maschinen von Vibiemme und Rocket waren direkt vor Ort vorführbereit und auch gleich als OVP-Neuware verfügbar. Das ist schon mal klasse, wenn es einen dann doch spontan "packt".
Hinzu kommt eine wirklich gut ausgewählte Präsentation von wertigen Zubehörteilen und leckeren Kaffeesorten, um dann irgendwann voll bepackt und mit einem breiten Grinsen im Gesicht das Geschäft zu verlassen.

Vom Preisniveau her würde ich das Geschäft (wenn überhaupt) nur leicht über den Internet-Preisen einstufen, aber dafür kommt man einem in der Summe etwas entgegen und man hat, und das ist mir bei einer solchen Maschine einiges Wert, einen Ansprechpartner vor Ort, zu dem man dann auch mal schnell die Maschine bringen könnte, wenn damit etwas sein sollte.

Ich gehe auf jeden Fall immer mal wieder gerne hin, um nach neuen Zubehörteilen zu stöbern.
