I went there last Saturday with three of my uni friends... staff was lovely, food was delicious as well!! The cocktails are great too (and affordable)! We will definitely visit this place again ;-)

Went there with a group of friends last week. The atmosphere is really nice and homey and the service is friendly as well. Most of us ordered pizzas and they were super tasty and the ingredients were fresh, too! It was an overall great experience and I definitely would recommend for an affordable dinner with friends!

I visited this restaurant last weekend with a couple of my colleagues and we had a great time ! Lovely staff and delicious food !! We shared two plates of bruschetta and I had the Salad Matisse as my main course. Everything tasted fresh and the summer garden provides a great ambience. We will go again for sure.

Excellent environment, friendly service, great menu choices and really decent food and at affordable prices. What I can say for sure is that, Matisse is one the top best restaurants in the north Europe!!!!!!  which you should not miss it. We will come back Matisse :)

Came back to Matisse after almost one year. I had a really great experience again !!!!, nice vibe , delicious food, fair price , .... and last not least great owners (Mr and Ms Khalili)

I fly to Bremen every now and again to visit one of my old uni friends and it has become a tradition to eat at this restaurant every time I'm here. The pizzas and casseroles are deliciously comforting and the service is very kind as well. Highly recommend!

I visited this restaurant with my fellow students from Spain. The environment of the restaurant was very comfortable and the service was great as well. I ordered a vegetarian pizza and it was very tasty.. the wine selection was also very diverse!

OK but not great Home made spaghetti aren't really Italian style.
There are better Italian places in town. Also very loud, makes it difficult to talk.
