We LOVED our dinner from Julius! We’ve been in Bremen and haven’t found traditional German food until today. This is a quaint, cozy, traditionally decorated restaurant with the most delicious food I’ve ever had! The portions were huge and the prices were reasonable. The package service was fantastic also.

We picked up our burgers from the restaurant. We ordered the Burgers and wanted to try something new. We were not at all disappointed and the burgers were not soggy at all. I will definitely recommend their burgers and would also like to try something new.

When we entered the restaurant, I have to admit that we were a little put off by the previous owner's worn-out ambience. We stayed anyway and were pleasantly surprised by the food.

We only wanted something small, not a main course, so we initially decided on a bruschetta. The Hammer! Prepared from a pizza dough, with very finely chopped tomatoes and what else belongs to it. Really great!

Afterwards we had a salad with turkey breast (Insalata dela Casa). Super juicy meat, prepared to the point. Yes, - juicy turkey. Not a cardboard thing that you usually get slapped into the salad. A real steak! (See pictures). The salad was also great.

The vitello tonnato was also excellent. Top beef meat, well prepared and perfectly seasoned and delicious.

Since there wasn't much going on, the chef came to the table and said a few words about the restaurant. Very pleasant.

If you want some honestly good food in Bremen Blumenthal, you won't be disappointed here. As said, the facility is something to hide.

We will definitely come back.

Die 5 Sterne sind für das Essen genau richtig!

Als wir ins Lokal gekommen sind, muss ich zugeben, dass uns das abgerockte Ambiente vom Vorbesitzer etwas abgeschreckt hat. Wir sind dennoch geblieben und wurden mehr als positiv vom Essen überrascht.

Wir wollten nur was kleines, keine Hauptspeise, daher haben wir uns zunächst für eine Bruschetta entschieden. Der Hammer! Aus einem Pizzateig zubereitet, mit sehr fein geschnittenen Tomaten und was sonst zu gehört. Wirklich spitze!

Im Anschluss hatten wir unteranderen einen Salat mit Putenbrust (Insalata dela Casa). Super saftiges Fleisch,- auf den Punkt zubereitet. Ja,- saftige Pute. Kein Papp-Ding was man sonst in den Salat geklatscht bekommt. Ein richtiges Steak! (Siehe Bilder). Auch der Salat war super angemacht.

Das Vitello Tonnato ist ebenfalls hervorragend gewesen. Top Rind Fleisch, gut zubereitet und perfekt gewürzt und köstlich.

Da noch nicht viel los war, kam der Koch an den Tisch und hat ein paar Worte zum Lokal verloren. Sehr angenehm.

Wer in Bremen Blumenthal mal was ehrlich gutes Essen will, der wird hier nicht enttäuscht werden. Wie gesagt, die Einrichtung ist etwas, was man ausblenden muss.

Wir werden definitiv wieder kommen.
