Churros and drinks were amazing. Great drink selection even for non-alcoholic trinken. Virgin mojito is best I’ve had, as well as the churros. Decorations are unique and give a good atmosphere.
However, I am from America in an area with many Mexican immigrants (and have worked at Mexican restaurants). The salsas are not worth trying (is the house salsa made of ketchup??) and the menu looks very bland even compared with the “gringo” places in the US—no spice or seasoning.
Overall, expensive, no semblance of authentic Mexican except for churros maybe. I do understand adapting to the region, and appreciate new interpretations of cultural food. However if you want a good representation of Mexican cuisine and can handle seasoning on your food, fly to the US or Mexico. Here is good for drinks and dessert.
