As a non-German and dindn't know the typical Bremer-German dishes.
A went for the Bremer Knipp, WOW what a good taste! Also local said this is a very good taste compared with others. A recommend this place!

The meatballs are fluffy, with coarse pieces of onion and a bit spicy. Still juicy and tasty - just like at home (without M4GG1 or KN*RR).
The fries are crispy on the outside, potatoes on the inside, deliciously seasoned and the mayo is really chunky snack mayo.
In addition, narrow courses and even 1/2 fries for students or the small purse.
The second visit let me try homemade fried potatoes - fair portion with bacon and onions, well browned and no black bits - because onions and bacon are added to the pan after the fact and don't burn.
I give it five stars plus one more star for the cheap prices and the homemade meatballs.
The decor is actually a bit shabby - but I don't go to a snack bar because of the ambience, but because of the food and everything really fits. Fresh salads, cheap lunch, everything neatly covered in the counter.

Einem Kollegen fiel ein, dass er lange nicht mehr im Imbiss in der Bremerhavener Straße war. Ich selbst war noch nie dort.
Die Bedienung war nett und freundlich und die Auswahl auf der Karte nicht überfrachtet und mit dem versehen, was ich als für einen Imbiss angemessen finde.
Ich entschied mich für zwei Frikadellen mit Pommes und Majo.
Ich muss ganz ehrlich sagen - so etwas geiles hatte ich seit 35 Jahren nicht mehr auf dem Teller!!!
Die Frikadellen locker, mit groben Zwiebelstücken und etwas scharf. Trotzdem saftig und lecker - so wie zu Hause (Ohne M4GG1 oder KN*RR).
Die Pommes sind außen knusprig, innen kartoffelig, lecker gewürzt und die Majo ist richtig schlotzige Imbiss-Majo.
Dazu schmale Kurse und sogar 1/2 Pommes für Schüler oder den kleinen Geldbeutel.
Der zweite Besuch ließ mich hausgemachte Bratkartoffeln probieren - reelle Portion mit Speck und Zwiebeln, gut gebräunt und ohne schwarze Stücke - Zwiebeln und Speck kommen nämlich erst nachträglich in die Pfanne und verbrennen nicht.
Von mir gibt es fünf Sterne plus einen weiteren Stern für die günstigen Preise und die selbst gemachten Frikadellen.
Die Einrichtung ist tatsächlich etwas abgerockt - aber ich gehe nicht wegen des Ambientes in einen Imbiss, sondern wegen des Essens und da passt wirklich alles. Frische Salate, günstiger Mittagstisch, alles in der Theke ordentlich abgedeckt.
Weiter so und vielen Dank, dass ihr die Fahne für deutsches Imbiss-Essen oben haltet.
