We went to the pub on a Tuesday evening and the ambience was good, a very small place but it wasn't crowded.

late night place to drink in bremen (opposite 2 major hotels) so easy to drink and walk back to hotel.

I was just looking for a beer after arriving in Bremen. I walked around the old town area and stumbled upon this little, tiny place. The bartender was attentive and quick. The patrons seemed like locals and kept to themselves. I grabbed a pils and sat in the corner and people-watched for a while. One pils turned into three and eventually the locals came out of their shell and were chatty. A nice way to spend the first night in Bremen. Only detractor was that there was smoking allowed inside.

Usually head there when all other places are closed. It's a smoking bar and not meant for everyone I guess. Still good to go when the rest of the city is closed

Open until very late, nice and relaxed environment, very cosy and friendly bar tenders
