Very basic hostel, bed sheets need to be renewed and walls should be repainted. If you stay for 1 night it's okay

Nice and comfortable small hostel. An interesting Altbau building. Everything was clean and good. Shared bathroom is not a problem because they have one bathroom for three small rooms (which together make one floor). And the host is so helpful.

I would never stay there again.
The guy was rather unfriendly. We actually were not able to tell if he was handicapped or simply unpolite.

We stayed at the room that is downstairs, with a window to the street. The curtain/drapes did not work, so people were able to sneak peek inside and we the light from outside made it difficult for us to sleep. They were broken and apparently someone had attempted to "fix" them with tape, one by one, making a terrible job out of it.

The bathroom was shared by that room and another one and it was impossible to catch a good night sleep with all the noise.
The shower had no place to hang the handle (old European style) and it was old and in poor shape. The shower curtain was simply a joke... Most importantly, I was not able to get a steady temperature in the shower: it was either burning hot and then got cold or the other way around without even touching the "lever".

Simply put, a very expensive "hostel", not worth it at all.

I will highly recommend this hostel. It is cheap, very nice and located in the city centre. They have a newly renovated kitchen from 2017, which will be for your disposal. If you are attending an event in Bremen and need a place to sleep, this hostel is a good choice.

Friendly host, good location but bathroom is a bit old and dirty. Beds not so good but acceptable

Not the friendliest of receptions, a functional but featurless hostel with basic facilities. I wanted a shower, and a bed and it delivered. If you want anything more then perhaps look for somewhere friendlier with a bit more character.

The room was dirty, the WiFi was not working, there is no reception and you have to wait for the guy at least 1 hour to come and give you the keys to the room. It's a really bad place to stay and it's not what it is advertised, don't trust the photos. It's far from everything.
