Great atmosphere, interesting history and friendly staff. Sitting on the deck enjoying breakfast is a different experience compared to many hotels

Great place! The surrounding view is very nice. However I am giving it 4/5 stars because my 7 year old son tripped and fell into the water after this photo was taken.

Great Experience! The staff are lovely and very helpful. The location is great because you’re walking distance from the Altstadt. The rooms were clean. Staying on a ship is very fun. I would not recommend for small children or physically disabled people as the stairs are very steep and need to be climbed down backwards. I would recommend to anyone else.

I took the Zanderfillet with risotto and it was completely bland... Matjessfilet was ok though.

Exceptionally friendly staff. A very cool novelty to stay on a famous ship instead of a regular hotel.
Of course the cabins are not as spacious as in some hotels but that is part of the authentic experience. Even with over 1,90m the bunk beds were still spacouse and long enough.
Breakfast was fair and the dinner was excellent. Great to eat breakfast on the deck of a sailing ship and be just 3 minutes walk from Böttcherstr.

Wonderful boat awful hotel
I spent there two nights in a business trip and would not recommend to stay in the hotel. The room was very hot with only a very small window with no outside view and no capability to get fresh air. The main issue however was linked to noise with other customers who went drunk did not found their rooms? and as there were no hotel staff staying on the boat nobody took care about the situation and I could not sleep before 4.00am because of the noise! To be avoided especially for business trip!

Marvelous location. Unbelievable, that this Restaurant has crossed the Atlantic six times and passed Cap Horn three times!
Very chilled personal. :-)
