This has become my favourite place in the neighbourhood to order from, but it was not always this way. The first couple of visits I only knew about the regular menu. The regular menu is... not great. (One exception, more on this later.) But every now and then I'd walk by at night and see a bit group having something like a large steamed fish, and I'd suspect something else was going on.
That something else is the Chinese menu. The Chinese menu is what you want friends. The stir fried squid is light, quick, and flavourful. The green beans (bobby beans) with garlic are too. Gongbao chicken is passable but good for a change. The fish fillets in hot chili oil are delicious, especially in winter. Pak choi ok, but the green beans are better. Eggplant with pork quite decent (though there are better versions of this). I'm sure there are other good things on there that I haven't tried yet.
The one thing from the regular menu that I think is great are the fried rice noodles with curry and various meats, which are basically Singapore noodles and too addictive. Further experiments with that menu have not proven worthwhile.
Point is, you can have a really good meal here if you know how to order. Chinese menu all the way.
