Just participated the first time today. What a cool event, super friendly staff, well organized, a bit outdated way of registering u0026 tracking (there are modern third-party apps available, fortunately), nice route, super fun to do on a weekend and if you're travelling. The Rheinaue Parkrun is well situated in Bonn's central park. The scenery is photogenic with mature trees, landscaped parkland and manicured gardens. The course has the right amount of hills (not too many) and the route is entirely paved with asphalt. The course is ideal for wheelchair users.

Great, free weekly 5k running/walking event at 9 am every Saturday. Small and friendly group of volunteers and runners give you a chance to run a timed 5k and then go for a coffee and some breakfast afterwards. The course is fully paved so you don't get muddy. Register on the website and print out the barcode first.
