Totally outdated with interior design from the 90s, weird locals inside, limited selection on beer/drinks. But surprisingly lively and full. It's a no-frills, no worries kind of place and that's why we come over here over and over again. Payment in cash only which is a bummer

Gluten free options. Family member has celiac and did not get sick after eating turkey salad and french fries. Staff was very friendly and location was convenient. Would eat here again. Paid with card and it was no issue.

We came in late into Bonn and were looking desperately for a place to eat and drink. We came across this place by chance, close to our hotel, and it would not have been my first choice. It is a rather down-to-earth German "Wirtshaus", and I was concerned at first. However, it turned out to be a very nice experience. The owners were very nice and accommodating. The menu contained to my surprise many Bavarian dishes, so I was somewhat skeptical how those would turn out, but the Schweinebraten and the Schnitzel were magnificent (the fish plate my wife had a little bit less so). Overall a very good experience, and totally to be recommended to anybody who want to experience a more traditional German, off-the-beaten track atmosphere.
