We went there at 19.20 and the appetizers arrived at almost 21.00. One of the main courses did not come and the answer we received was that they couldn't provide us the dish and the last remaining dish they could provide was given to another table. The food did not taste good. They smelled very fishy although there should not contain any fish in some of the dishes. Although the waiting staff was nice to us, it was not a very memorable experience.

After ringing the famous doorbell being let in, my first impression of the restaurant is definitely leopard decorations: table, bar, wall, ceilings, everywhere ???? The rather small space (only 4 tables in 2 groups) and the rather big tree decorations add to the general coziness of the place.

I ordered catfish with fifi and ginger beer. Fifi tastes a lot like German Knödel. The catfish is rather bony, but the sauce is quite good. Ginger beer is more or less like ginger ale with a more distinct ginger taste.

Overall, the food experience is not too special (though I may be biased, coming from Vietnam), but the authentic experience definitely warrants a visit for anyone looking for something different to try out.

Amazing food, made with love.
The restaurant may be small but it has a very welcoming atmosphere, lots of colors and its very clean.
The lady who made my food was very sweet and thoughtful, food was very yummy! Will definitely visit again

Really the strangest eating experience of my life. First, when I arrived at the door, it was locked, and someone came up the door and demanded to know what I wanted. Confused, I stepped back to confirm that I was indeed at the right place. After confirming that I hadn't just walked up to someone's home, I told them that I wanted to eat. I was let in. Next, the food took a very long time to be ready. Around an hour I think. I was actually told later that it's best to call ahead to order and then arrive after it's ready. While waiting, I developed the need to urinate. Trying to visit the washroom I was told that it was out of order, so I sat back down. Later, while still waiting to eat, the need to urinate was much more intense. I asked if there was a nearby bar that I could visit to use their washroom. I was told to just go use the washroom which apparently was just dirty, not out of order. It was fine. After eating, I tried to pay. After being told that they don't take card, I tried to pay my bill of €22 with a €50 bill. They didn't have any change at all. In the end they were able to get change from their son. Another thing was that all through the meal, I was the only one there, the TV played a movie very loudly, and a friend or relative of owner also played what sounded like a very loud preacher on a tablet.
Wow! Very strange! The ambiance is poor and the place is small and the experience is mediocre at best. But!, the food was actually pretty good though. I'd go back. But call ahead and bring exact change ????

It is good to experience the food once, but unfortunately wouldn't go back for a couple of reasons: food quality - as one reviewer mentioned - can still be improved vis. price (exorbitant is the best word to describe it) and the ambiance isn't very nice. The place is quite small and, for a claustrophobe, can be quite problematic since ventilation is not very good.
