Hallo Gilgen's Bäkerei !
Thanks to the google map feature that I could find the Gilgen's bakery site (was it the same bakery name in the 1970's ?).
It has been since 1975 ~ about 47 years, that I have lived in Röttgen and last bought "brötchen" from your bakery before going to school (Carl von Ossietzky Gymnasium).
The town has not changed much so I ca identify various places there.
Amazing !

We liked this place very much. It is an easy walk from where we were staying. We visited several times.

Very unfriendly old lady, totally not baby friendly, they do not tolerate normal kid behaviors... Sad!
