I was here on a Sunday afternoon for a non-emergency problem (outpatient, on-duty doctor), checking if there was an infection with a knee abrasion. The process was easy, smooth and uncomplicated, from check-in and waiting, to seeing the doctor. There was almost no other patients, and the doctor on duty, Dr Emrich, was kind, patient and spoke English.

As expats who may not have a good level of German (yet), it can be really difficult and stressful to use local services such as clinics and hospitals. Hopefully by sharing my good experience, people can benefit from this and feel more comfortable :-)

The hospital is well known for orthopedic surgeries. The outpatient clinics are always crowded and you have to wait for a long time. I had an accident and had to do an operation in my knee, they have good doctors , and after the operation I spent 10 days under supervision, the service was good. 2 person per room, so you don’t have full privacy. The nurses are nice and very helpful.

Da saß sie schon fertig mit Bericht in der Hand und wurde von einer ebenfalls sehr netten Schwester sehr herzlich verabschiedet.
