I am beyond thankful to everyone in this hospital. From doctors to nurses and just literally to everyone who took care of me last week. I felt really safe and very happy with the service. For so many reasons, I am recommending this hospital as they have very good Gynecologist ???? As an expat, it made me worried at first because my German is not good and they might not be able to take care of me but I was wrong! To start with, my pre-op assessment, they already speak English! Before my surgery, the anesthesiologists already made me feel safe so I know I'm in good hands ???? Then my surgeons really did great and I didn't feel any post surgery trauma!!! And of course to all my nurses in Station 2C who are beyond amazing ❤️ The nurses really tried to speak English with me and I am super thankful for that! Some nurses can't speak English but we did talked using google translate and we were able to communicate. Even my husband was very happy with the service and they treat us really well. They are all very polite and I salute all of them! It was the BEST experience!

I will always recommend this hospital specially to the EXPATS like me ????

I had my daughter here earlier this year . Originally we had planned to have a natural birth at the Geburtshaus Bonn (which I would still strongly reccomend) but after over 24 hours of labour and a lot of exhaustion later it was decided an emergency c section was the best and safest and best option for us all.

I had heard good reviews of this hospital so had decided, along with our midwife that this would be the best place to transfer to.

The midwifes on duty were really lovely but too busy to come into surgery with me.

This left me alone with a lot of men nurses and doctors, who were very friendly but as I was entering the operating theatre and asked if I would still be able to have skin on skin contact, I was quickly told that 'it's far too cold for that'and it would not be possible. I tried to persuade them that skin contact is a great heat regulator but they had made their mind up and as soon as she was out they took her away to clean her, wrapped her in a big blanket and put a bright pink hat on her before placing her awkwardly on my chest.

The first moments with my daughter (and then the hour after, that I couldn't be with her while I was being stitched up) could not have been further from what I had imagined and for that reason I would advise you to really think about it before chosing this hospital for birth.

Or maybe there should be more training for surgeons about the importance of skin on skin contact straight after birth. I haven't heard of any other hospital where this is not possible(these days).

I will add that we had some really great nurses looking after us in the family ward afterwards, who I am very thankful to!

TO AVOID! I was sent to the ambulatory department by a family doctor for a small infection. I have a European (not german) health insurance card and they would not recognize it --- "there is no option in the system for this information" --- hence I was asked to prepay 200 euros.... yet I was not given a bill after treatment --- "mmh... perhaps you should call tomorrow". I have only good things to say about the doctor, but having ping ponged between three utterly incompetent administrative assistants, this is not the kind of service anyone should depend on in time of need. GO ELSEWHERE.

Did a colonoscopy and endoscopy there. The crew was really friendly and I went through the whole procedure without any problems, didn't even feel a thing.

Had an insect bite and was in a huge pain Sunday evening, could barely walk. Nurse and doctor were super annoyed by my visit. Told that I should not come to them, were very unfriendly and unprofessional. If there was an option I would not even give a one star to this hospital.

They were polite, talked good english (imp for expats) and really professional. I had GIT problems and there were two physicians, i know one was Spanish, Dr. Rodriguez, he was kind and professional, the other doctor as well but unfortunatly i forgot his name (sorry :D)

I hope the patients who are currently there will fare better.

Angefangen vom Personal das nur weil mein Vater etwas dunkler mit Bart ist mit ihm gesprochen haben als würde er nichts verstehen. Die Behandlungen von meiner Mutter gingen 12 Tage ohne Erfolg und sagen allen ernstes es hat psychologische Gründe bis Sie vor Schmerzen umkippte. Ihr Magen war angeblich super , tja eben nicht Sie hat gelitten. Ja sie haben sie behandelt mit Antibiotikum für den Darm mit dem alles in Ordnung war, bis sie den Arzt gewechselt hat und endlich ihr geholfen werden konnte. Nicht meine erste schlechte Erfahrungen mit diesem Krankenhaus. Ich hoffe es wird den Patienten besser ergehen die dort aktuell sind.
