I have been there several times to look at the birds and small animals there, unfortunately I am always terrified what conditions there and that animal protection has not yet intervened.

The terrariums are completely spoiled and there is a smell of animal urine everywhere! This condition only occurs if the enclosures / terrariums have not been cleaned for several weeks. The animals have hardly any exercise, no hiding places and no activity such as wheels, branches or other small animal toys in the cage.
I particularly noticed the Degus' poor posture. The 6 of them sit in a terrarium with almost no employment or climbing opportunities. Several animals with bite wounds can also be seen here.
Too little litter, no fresh food like salad or the like. and just too little space for so many large animals. It is really an impertinence !!!
I don't need to tell you more about the bird cages.
The pet shop also has its own breeding (see Gerbil's young animals)

Anyone who would like to bring a new family member into the house, please do not support this trade with such an attitude, rather take another look at where you can find healthy animals with a clean and sufficiently large terrarium or cage. There you can be sure that it is about the welfare of the animal and not just about the profit.

Ich war schon öfters dort um mir die Vögel und Kleintiere dort anzuschauen, leider bin ich immer wieder sher erschrocken was dort für Zustände herschen und das bisher der Tierschutz noch nicht eingeschritten ist.
Die Tiere sind teilweise in keinem guten Zustand (das Fell ist ganz matt und viele haben Entzündungen an den Augen oder sogar Bisswunden von ihren Artgenossen weil sie auf zu kleinem Raum gehalten werden)
Die Terrarien sind völlig verkotet und es riecht überall nach Tier Urin! Dieser Zustand tritt nur ein wenn die Gehege/ Terrarien mehrere Wochen nicht gereinigt worden sind. Die Tiere haben kaum Auslauf, keine Versteckmöglichkeiten und keine Beschäftigung wie Laufräder, Äste oder sonstige Kleintierspielzeuge im Käfig.
Ganz besonders ist mir die schlechte Haltung der Degus aufgefallen. Diese sitzen zu 6. in einem Terrarium mit fast keinen Beschäftigungs- oder Klettermöglichkeiten. Auch hier sind mehrere Tiere mit Bisswunden zu sehen.
Viel zu wenig Einstreu, kein Frischfutter wie Salat o.ä. und einfach zu wenig Platz für so viele und große Tiere. Es ist wirklich eine Zumutung!!!
Von den Vogelkäfigen brauche ich dann wohl nicht weiter berichten.
In der Tierhandlung wird auch eine eigene Zucht betrieben (siehe Gerbils Jungtiere)

Alle die sich gerne ein neues Familienmitglied ins Haus holen wollen, bitte unterstützt nicht diesen Handel mit solch einer Haltung, schaut euch lieber noch einmal in Ruhe um wo ihr gesunde Tiere mit einem sauberen und außreichend großem Terrarium oder Käfig findet. Dort könnt ihr euch sicher sein, dass es um das Wohl des Tieres geht und nicht nur um den Profit.

Ich gehe seit der Tierladen hier in Linden ist regelmäßig hin (ca 5 jahren)
Ich habe da schon sämtliche Tiere gekauft Hamster(käfig),Fische(becken),Schnecken(Terrarium)und die waren alle fit. Ich finde auch nicht dass die Tiere verwahrlost und dreckig sind. Ich bringe sogar mein Hund alle 6 Monate zum Haare schneiden dahin und es ist immer wieder spitze.
Alleine die Mitarbeiter sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Ich kann nicht sagen dass der laden (Tiere) Dreckig ist.
Alleine die Tips die ich bekommen habe waren alle Gold werd. Es hat immer was gebracht.
Also wenn man so Behauptungen aufstellt dann bitte die Warheit schreiben...

Ach ja noch was du weißt einfach Fotos machen und ins Netz stellen ohne die Erlaubnis ist VERBOTEN und ist Strafbar. Nur so zu Info. ;-)
