I've been around for the RuhrJS Conference 2018 and found the location to be surprisingly fitting for the Ruhr Area. The stone walls and interior design for together beautifully.
Given the sun is in the right angle to the huge disco-ball, it sprinkles the bar with light which really looks amazing.

Only downside was that it got really hot and somewhat stuffy in there with all the people in there, but that might be different for other events.

All in all really a comfy place to be.

(I guess our buffet was made by their stuff as well so yeah, the food was good too.)

Rotunde is a bar, a restaurant and a club altogether. The bar are is quite nice, perfect to organize a quiet get-together. The restaurant is perhaps a bit pricey for what it is, although the food is good. In summer it's very nice to sit outside when it's sunny. In the club there are sometimes quality concerts and some interesting parties, also sometimes flea markets are organized there.

fantastic club ONLY downside is that there are no heaters outside

Good vibes, staff really know what they are doing, very good kitchen, best crisp vegetables I've eaten in a long while.
