First time here. We got the sun house seat which meant we bathed in the sun the whole time; it was very nice although a bit blinding. The food came in great portions, and they were very very delicious (the carpaccio is a must-order!)

We visited L'osteria every our coming to Bochum. Everything was good.

But for the last 3 visits, something has changed - the pizza has ceased to be so tasty, and the waiter (we got to him twice in a row) was terribly slow, supercilious and uninterested in visitors. A very unpleasant experience.
2 stars only given out for old time's sake.

Typical losteria! Nothing out of the box. Cool vibe and a fair amount of delay in responding to orders. On a weekend, expect a response time of 45-60 minutes, so probably carry Uno cards or something ????

Food was great , staff a disaster!!! REALLY unfriendly!! There were these two girls staring at us just because me and my husband asked if we could sit where we wanted at a table for two persons.The whole place was literally empty!!!! And these two just kept staring ,giving these ironic looks and chit chatting to each other. That's called bullying as far as I know!! I'm disappointed! L'osteria two years ago was wayyyy better!

Wrong pizza delivered. We contacted l'osteria to report it but the guy picking up the phone turned us off and with the each next attempt to contact, no response. That's not serious. You lost more than one customer.

Italian resturant, if you are not German and so not understand German language, the menu is available in English too. Check with the waiter, most of them speak English and can help you get what you like on the table. If and to get the experience of how a pizza is prepared, get into the resturant and you see the open kitchen and you will find it amazing.
