Cappadocia Frische Center is always well supplied with fresh fruits and vegetables. Here one could find a lot of typical Turkish and Mediterranean food like olives, figs, beans, chickpeas, peanuts, pistachios, and many pickles types. Meat and sausages, regular and flat bread. There is a good variety of different types of white and yellow cheese – at most produced in Turkey or other countries in South East Europe and Middle East. Especially impressive is the stand with the spices – standard and oriental ones.
The supermarket is very close to Bochum downtown. Around 10 minutes walk from the city center and from the main railway station of Bochum. It is most suitable to stop at Rathaus U-bahn station and then walk to Cappadocia Frische Center. The supermarket has also a parking lot with 1 hour gratis parking. Unfortunately the parking place is a bit narrow and can accommodate around 20 cars only. Parking on neighboring streets is almost “ Mission impossible” J.
Very often you could hear conversations in Turkish language, but the staff is very friendly and everyone speaks good German language as well. Payment with credit and debit cards is welcome, Cash as well J
One thing that I find a bit inappropriate at Cappadocia Frische Center is that it is somehow overcrowded with goods, somehow chaotic and with too narrow space between stands.
