As a non-smoker, I also find the smokers who are standing and sitting right around the entrance very uncomfortable. When you go into the house you already smell of smoke and as a non-smoking patient who wants to get some fresh air you have to walk a long way in order not to stand in the smoke and really breathe fresh air. But you have to go far out that there is no seating.

I would be happy if the QM were to consider realizing smoke-free access.

Sehr angenehmes Krankenhaus. Allerbeste Küche. Trotz erhöhter Belastung des Pflegepersonals stand 15.04.2022 bleiben alle sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Station 45C. Aber im Hintergrund weiss man über die Belastung und traut sich villeicht doch mal nicht zu klingeln.
Fachlich empfinde ich die Profs und Dres als das beste, vergleichbar mit der Uniklink Heidelberg.
Nach dem die neue Station vor 2 Jahren eröffnet wurde ist alles sehr sauber und noch in einwandfreiem Zustand. Das einzige was sich in den letzten 2 Jahren abgenutzt bzw. eingefahren hat ist die Fahrstrasse der Automatische transporter. Die Transporter empfinde ich beim erstmaligen Kennenlernen als sehr interessant aber nun nach mehreren Aufenthalten. Als sehr störend wenn man mit dem Ständer für die IV Versorgung und dann nicht mit dem Urin Beutel Richtung Ausgang zum luftschnappen möchte.

Als Nichtraucher empfinde ich auch die Raucher welche direckt um den Eingang herum stehen und sitzen als sehr unangenehm. Wenn man ins Haus geht stinkt man schon nach Qualm und als nicht rauchenden Patient der frische Luft schnappen möchte muss man sehr weit laufen um nicht in dem Rauch zu stehen und wirklich frische Luft zu atmen. Aber man muss si weit raus dass es schon keine Sitzgelegenheiten gibt.

Hier würde ich mich freuen wen das QM einmal überlegt wir ein rauchfreien Zugang zu verwirklichen ist.

In der Urologie des Augusta Krankenhauses wurde nach der Diagnose von zwei Karzinomen bei mir eine Prostataektomie durchgeführt. Ich gelte 2 Monate später als geheilt, da die Tumore noch frühzeitig entfernt wurden. Natürlich stehe ich unter Beobachtung und Bewährung der Nachsorge. Mein spezieller Dank und mein großer Respekt geht an den Chefarzt der Urologie und seinTeam ! Die fachliche Leistung der OP hätte nicht besser sein können. Sogar alle relevanten Nerven sind erhalten worden. Die Beratung durch den Chefarzt und sein Team hat von der ersten Untersuchung vor der Biopsie bis zur Abschlussuntersuchung das Vertrauen ausgestrahlt das man sich in solch einer einschneidenden Situation für das Leben erhofft. Ein großes Dankeschön ebenso an die Pflegekräfte der Station. Ihr Service ist hervorragend- ein Lächeln war immer da!

Ging dann noch weiter. Termin zur ambulanten Sprechstunde und Nachkontrolle bei der Entlassung erhalten. Dass ich dafür aber eine neue Einweisung vom Facharzt brauche, hat man mir allerdings nicht mitgeteilt.
