The buffet was plentiful and varied, in the evening there was mostly warm food again, but no bread or cold cuts as an alternative. After friendly questions I got some for the kids anyway. So no one starved, I thought it was okay, even if it didn't always suit my personal taste.
Unfortunately there is no playground for the children, that would be something that could be seen as a suggestion for improvement.
Nevertheless, my children were outside a lot and played with other children, the area is car-free and ideal for playing. FOOTBALL, foosball, table tennis bats or badminton bats can be borrowed free of charge.
The child care from Monday to Saturday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. was really great. My children were always really looking forward to it and I have to say that they came up with something new every day.
The area invites you to go on excursions, we visited the Externsteine, we were in the Steinwelt, in the free zoo (very, very nice) and we looked at the castle in Bielefeld
We ourselves were mobile by car, but you can also easily reach one or the other by bus.
We were lucky enough to see the Easter fire there.
For us it was a nice break, the showers would certainly be a point that can be revised. I'm not that sensitive now, but beauty is different here. Otherwise, we would also like to thank the friendly staff.

Wir durften hier unsere Coronaferien verbringen. Die Zimmer waren soweit okay vom Platz her, nur die Dusche im Badezimmer war naja... (Schimmel).
Das Buffet war reichhaltig und abwechslungsreich, abends gab es meist nochmals warmes Essen, alternativ aber kein Brot und Aufschnitt. Nach freundlichen Fragen bekam ich aber trotzdem welches für die Kinder. Also verhungert ist keiner, ich fand es in Ordnung, auch wenn es meinen persönlichen Geschmack nicht immer getroffen hat.
Leider gibt es keinen Spielplatz für die Kinder, das wäre nochmal was, was man als Verbesserungsvorschlag sehen könnte.
Dennoch waren meine Kinder viel draußen und haben mit anderen Kindern gespielt, das Gelände ist Autofrei und ideal zum Spielen. FUSSBALL, Kickerball, Tischtennisschläger oder Badmintonschläger kann man kostenlos ausleihen.
Die Kinderbetreuung von Mo bis Sa 10-12 Uhr war wirklich top. Meine Kinder haben sich immer sehr darauf gefreut und ich muss sagen, man hat sich jedem Tag was neues einfallen lassen.
Die Gegend läd zu Ausflügen ein, wie haben die Externsteine besucht, waren in der Steinwelt, im kostenlosen Tierpark (sehr sehr schön) und haben uns die Burg in Bielefeld angeschaut
Selbst waren wir mobil mit dem Auto, man kann aber auch ganz gut das eine oder andere mit dem Bus erreichen.
Wir hatten das Glück dort auch das Osterfeuer zu erleben.
Für uns war es eine schöne Auszeit, das mit den Duschen wäre sicherlich ein Punkt, der überarbeitet werden darf. Ich bin nun nicht so empfindlich, aber schön ist hier anders. Ansonsten bedanken wir uns auch beim freundlichen Personal.
