This is a fully automated hotel. You are all on your own the moment you walked in. Use the pass-code provided during reservation to get the key to your room and then proceed to your room on your own. No reception service during odd hours. There are washer and dryer hidden in a small room at fourth floor which is in high-demand during weekend. Try to avoid the small room(ending with -02) as the kitchen is almost useless. The shower design in those rooms is pathetic. Water gets to everywhere even you take the shower in the most graceful form you could. The wifi signal is very weak it's almost impossible to use it. The position of the lights in those rooms are insignificant. They either blare at you directly or too dim to make it useful. The entry to the visitor parking(non-covered) is a hazard in design. The ramp going up is too slippery during wet season and the two entry bars shut itself without allowing the car to drive through. I suggest them the re-pave the ramp for better gripping and rectify the car-trapping bars. We survived all these fortunately.

Perfect location in AltStadt Bielefeld right in the middle of many great restaurants, cafés and shopping...yet still easy walking distance to Sparrenberg castle and Teutoberger Wald. Nice, clean and safe. Onsite parking. And staff here is remarkably responsive if you need anything. It's not a hotel but great option for short and longer term stays - we've been here five months and counting.

Best location in Bielefeld! You are in the center of all the activities of the city, directly on the old market. Rooms are comfortable, staff very friendly and cooperative!
A bit loud in summer.

The so-called security doors have the property that they are very difficult and loud to open. I'm really a very tolerant person, but these rooms are really an impertinence for the prices called for! Achtung! Auf das Zimmer kommt es an! Wenn man eines der normaldimensiorten Räumchen erwischt, wohnt man fast konkurrenzlos gut. Die Lage ist perfekt und die Ausstattung sehr gut. Und wie ich gehört habe ist es auch recht ruhig.
Und dann kann man Pech haben und die sprichwörtliche Besenkammer bekommen, so wie ich. Das sind für mein Dafürhalten die Zimmer, die auf -02 enden. Diese haben die Eigenschaft, erstens nicht einmal halb so groß zu sein wie die anderen, zweitens mit einer Küche ausgestattet zu sein, deren Tresen für Liliputaner zu niedrig und deren Kühlschrank für Dirk Nowitzki zu hoch eingebaut ist, drittens über eine Dusche zu verfügen die faktisch nicht benutzbar ist, weil sie offen (ja! offen!) ist und somit nach wenigen Sekunden das halbe Bad unter Wasser steht und viertens zu allem Übel direkt an das Treppenhaus anzugrenzen. Das bedeutet im Klartext, dass man wirklich jede Person die das Treppenhaus zur Tages- oder Nachtzeit über das Parkdeck oder sonstige Türen betritt mitbekommt. Die sogenannten Sicherheitstüren haben nämlich die Eigenschaft, sich nur sehr schwer und lautstark öffnen zu lassen. Ich bin wirklich ein sehr toleranter Mensch, aber diese Zimmer sind wirklich eine Zumutung für die dafür aufgerufenen Preise! Informieren Sie sich vorher, welches Zimmer sie hier bekommen, sonst haben sie ein paar schlaflose Nächte vor sich, wie ich sie hatte!
