Atmosphere is awesome. Food is very good. People are nice. Customers are funky. Great place to eat and drink.

I went in here for a draught beer, They were pretty insistent that I sit down and they bring it to me even though I had exact change ready at that moment at the bar service counter ( if you can call it that). It was a nice place, but I think they really want to do sit down food service, rather than to have a quick relaxing drink and go... They were somewhat busy so there weren't a lot of seats available. They ended up sitting me in the window seat near where the newspapers were, people kept coming by and grabbing or dropping off a magazine or a newspaper, so that was kind of annoying.

My friend sold me on this place as "an authentic german experience"; but I cannot imagine "authentic germans" putting up with being ignored, served uninteresting food, and then having beer spilled all over them without so much as an acknowledgement of having been wrong.

Our server smashed a bottle on the floor, and dropped a bottle on me; then said nothing to any of us, and cleaned it up when he felt like it.

And they took nearly an hour to put together a cheese plate; at least they did warn us about the kitchen being slow.

Great place to meet artist, writers and composers, etc. The atmosphere is good as well. if you are looking for traditional food and local beer, it's the place to be.

Love this pub. Staff are great. Pleasent atmosphete. Great beer and great prices.

Atmosphere was nice, but the staff was not the friendliest I've seen in Berlin. The onion soup was great, definitely worth trying.

Neighborhood feel. Arty scene. Selection of beers on draught. Limited menu, and the food is tasty and well prepared.
