I passed this place late at night when looking for some food so decided to have some Carribean Fried Chicken. The lady who owned the shop was absolutely lovely. She asked for some help taking in the chairs while we waited for our food as she was closing soon. She was good enough to give us a beer on the house for our efforts and we had a nice chat with her. The food was some of the best Carribean food I've ever had and I will definitely be calling again when in Berlin.

The stuff was very friendly and food was tasty, but the prices are way too high for the value. I had this Jerk Chicken plate that costs € 14,50. It was nice one time experience but would not repeat because the prices are not fair.

Finger licking good.
An easy google search for restaurants in Moabit made me stumble upon this little gem near the hotel I was staying at.

I was greeted warm-hearted by owner Barbara. She told me the place already exists for 12 years. And she was ready to give me a taste of culture.

I strongly recommend that if it is your first time going to a Jamaican restaurant you order the jerk chicken. Because that’s the famous Jamaican dish. Since it was my first time here I did just that! Along with my Jerk chicken I ordered extra plaintain and a homemade ginger beer/ lemonade.

Everything tasted like I wanted to expect but didn’t expect. The chicken needs a whole few sentences on itself. Because that was an experience!
The meat was so tender it fell right of the bone. The crowning however was the sauce. After you finished the meat you will find your self sucking the juice off the bones like I did. Trust! This is food for the soul!

The owner could not make you feel more at home if she tried. Lovely food, could not fault it all. Fantastic jerk chicken and my friend enjoyed his veggie option too. Flavoursome, good food and was a decent price too! If I lived in Germany, I’d go everyday! Deffo recommend.
