Ate here Easter Sunday (4.17.22) while visiting family. If I could give this place zero stars, I would. The place is NOT trustworthy - added additional items not ordered to the bill. As there were several of us, I knew it would be expensive, but did not believe to check the bill for items not ordered. A place like this, a customer should not have to worry about the restaurant stealing from them. As the food was nothing great - I do NOT recommend. So many better places to eat in Berlin!

The Pfifferling Risotto had definitely too much lemon in it, otherwise everything was great. Schnitzel was also super juicy and well made. The Pfifferlinge and their sauces (not in the risotto) were also well made.

Walking in this leafy suburb on Sunday, we came across the Rehwiese Restaurant. Coming from Melbourne Australia, we are accustomed to very good restaurants. In Germany we found good restaurants, many average ones but Rehwiese stands out as the best I have been to. I had their Pfifferlinge salad which was not only beautifully presented but a symphony of tastes that complemented each other on the palate. The pfifferlinge were cooked just right, not over or underdone. Dessert was a mixture of various ice creams and mousse, all excellent. The wines on offer are good and thoughtfully appropriate for the cuisine. Serevice was polite, professional and friendly, never overbearing. Highly recommended.
