I unfortunately figured out today why this hospital has such bad reviews. I have stayed there like 3 months stationer. And I can can say with confidence that everyone that's working there from doctors to nurses or therapists deserve all the love and that's why I gave 6 stars. I will always appreciate the people that's working 24/7 with a smile on their faces patiently despite the people that forgets they are also human beings.

But -1 star for those in day clinic except Azubis and Therapists.

Well I also met people that deserve hundred stars and moons and planets.

But you are still there like an insult to all those people doing their best to help every single day.

I had a problem with my leg for many years, and I have talked with many doctors from different hospitals in Berlin and Never found a Solution. I finally ended up at Vivantes Spandau. Everything happened really fast and Dr. Melcher did an amazing job with my surgery. Even though my German is not good, everyone was trying to help me and talk with me. Even the guy who took me from my room to the surgery room was super friendly and supportive. Especially during these difficult times with corona, that no visitors are allowed, it was really important to me to be surrounded by these people. It was my very first surgery and I had a great experience. Thank you everyone for this experience, all the nurses, the people who were bringing the food, the people who were cleaning, the anaesthesiologists, the doctors and my surgeon. Everything was much appreciated.

The staff are wonderful. All of them. I was treated for a damaged shoulder. The diagnosis was quick and efficient. The operation a few days later was successful and my shoulder was repaired. I had to stay for 3 days. The staff were great, particularly during the pandemic it is amazing to operate a hospital. The people who brought the food were so careful and helpful - even cutting it up for me because I could only use one arm. The nurses and medical assistants were excellent. You needed something you just had to ask. Very professional. The cleaning guy was also really nice and considerate.
There are a couple of minor improvements they could make such as with information (e.g. put the typical daily rhythm of meal times on the walls) and a little more money on the food (e.g. 50cents or €1 more per meal, but there are probably all sorts of hurdles in the way).
I am a very happy patient. A big thank you to *all* of the staff.

The women who are at the entrance table at night (a blonde and a brunette) We made an effort to speak our basic German mixed with English but they were not interested in understanding each other. Zero empathy, we were not They gave an answer and we had to leave with our foot all swollen / swollen and unable to walk, without a response from anyone, terrible attention

I don't speak German and they didn't let my husband in with me, that's a very negative point, and my English isn't very good either

The doctor who I saw today was inappropriate, unprofessional, rude, dismissive, and sexist. He "diagnosed " me with a sexist stereotype of basically being overwhelmed with the experience of being a mother, after having met me three minutes prior and not discussing anything other than recurrent stomach pain and bloating. When I asked him how on earth he came up with that, he just said that he has been a doctor for 40 years. Apparently his views of female patients is stuck 140 years in the past. I didn't realise that doctors were still diagnosing hysteria for any type of female pain that they don't feel like investigating or taking seriously. If I could rate -1 I would.
