I was a bit worried, based upon the other reviews...

My experience was good. I called at 8.30AM this morning and was able to get an appointment at 10:15 in the Orthopaedic department. Nice.

I had to wait 10 minutes longer and was seen at 10:25. The doctor took time with me and I left with a prescription and a follow-up plan. I'll be going back there in a little while, so I'll update after the second visit.

No complaints for today. Seems like a lot of the complaints are related to the accident and emergency department, which thankfully I didn't need to use.

Hospitals always get a bad rep. I had to go to the emergency centre on a Saturday. The entrance to the Rettungstelle was hard to find and the nurses working there are quite grumpy and don't want to interact with you. The check in process is a bit chaotic and the waiting rooms don't have a display. This means you're waiting in a larger area and always have to pay attention when they call out your name which is not always easy when you have a foreign name. But the doctor who took care of me was thorough, put me at ease and handled things efficiently to give me a diagnosis. They need to work on organizational issues and the nurses could be more helpful, fort instance, they even refused to give me a band aid. But then again, they are a hospital and they save lives. So I won't rate them badly because I know they have different priorities.

THE MOST HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE , WE WAITED FOR A DOCTOR TO COME FOR 3H WHILE MY FRIEND WAS IN THE WAITING ROOM. THERE WERE 2 MORE PATIENTS WAITING IN THE EMERGENCY AND WHEN I ASKED THE DOCTOR IF HE SPEAKS ENGLISH HE RESPONDED IRONICALLY “ I SPEAK ENGLISH RATHER WELL”

My wife and I chose Vivantes AVK for giving birth to our daughter. Being first time parents the whole process was very new and stressful to us. All of the staff were amazing during our stay (4 days). Hebammes were extremely pleasant, friendly, and always went above and beyond. The nurses, doctors (Dr A.M) were also amazing despite being busy with patients.

Thank you, we will never forget the moments we spent in the hospital and will always cherish the memories

After a brutal broken heel injury my foot became badly infected. If it was not for the doctors, surgeons and nursing staff at Vivantes Auguste Viktoria Clinic, I could very well have lost my foot due to the infection.

Very grateful to all at the hospital for saving my foot!!! Bless you all who work there!!

The care is friendly and good. I am a bit disturbed that the hospital grounds are thick with cigarette smoke. And they provide endometriosis patients with bread (gluten inflames endometriosis).

I see many bad reviews for the hospital but this review is for the Kreißsaal (baby delivery rooms) and and recovery area for after birth. These facilities are in Haus 35. We were there for around 3 days. All the staff were amazing, very caring, extremely helpful, 24/7 support for us in this crazy process. The facilities and rooms were nice, all with a good view out into the surrounding trees. All round a great experience ????
