I was here on Friday night with my whole family and I can only agree with the review posted 9 hours ago. We got a reservation at 6:40pm as a treat for my daughter's 8th birthday and waited until 8:30pm for our food, by which time my husband had already left with my wailing 3-year old to go home and give her a piece of toast. Everyone around us was angry and complaining and the waitstaff didn't apologise once. They just put on stony faces and lied to us about how long it was going to take. The first time we asked when our food would arrive, they said "5 Minuten", and then second time we asked, 20 minutes later, we heard "gleich". What arrived was a nasty, gloopy, flavourless mess of pasta, and when we paid full price, we got a cold "Arrivederci" and lots of sympathetic looks from the diners around us. Non ci vediamo più.

It's not the best Italian I've ever been but I cannot say anything bad about the food. Their pastas and pizzas are definitely good and the other dishes are okay, too. You get 2 small slices of pizza as appetizer for free and free salad with your main if it fits well. Prices are otherwise very moderate and the portions are huge. We had to bring half of the food home. The servers were also nice and friendly.

Wow. Wow. Wow. This small italian restaurant is such a nice place with wonderful staff, delicious Italian food that is worth every penny. High recommendation from my side to make this your new Italian go-to-restaurant. I am definitely making it mine, now! It's a revelation. ***(Sorry for the dark pictures this time)***

Authentic italian taste. The ambience is warm. There's a painting directly painted on the wall, and it was surrounded by stones embedded on the wall, like a painting frame (picture attached).
The person (a young man) who served us is kind and friendly. He gave tomato pizza as appetizer, 2 pcs for every person of us, for free. And after payment, he offered free liquor shot.
Minus point is, as what other guests posted here, that they need long time to prepare our food.
Portion is big for us, like other restos in Germany. We always order 2 portion of meals for the three of us. Sometimes we still couldn't finished it.
We came without reservation, since it was Wednesday. It turned out that this trattoria was quite full! Two rooms upstairs were full, and we saw guest too in ground floor room.
Definitely will come back, but not when we are in a hurry.

What a wonderful little restaurant! My husband and I celebrated our anniversary here and had a lovely evening. We didn't reserve a table because it was a week night in winter. We got a seat, but we were lucky. The place is small and it did fill up! We brought our 1 month old baby along And they didn't bat an eye about giving us a bigger table,to accomodate her (a non-paying guest) very nice!
The food was delicious and plentiful; complimentary bruschetta - so we were remiss that we ordered an appetizer, Parma ham bruschetta - but it was delish!
My husband asked them to put together a grill platter for him, because we'd seen one in the Google pics and they did, no problem. It was perfection; he couldn't eat it all.
I ordered salmon in white wine sauce. The fish tasted fresh, the sauce was tangy - great compliment to the fish. Both dishes were served with spinach sauteed to perfection, with garlic. yum! And potatoes that were just amazing. I don't even know how to explain why these potatoes were so good... But they were. Great flavor. Tasted like they were grown in someone's garden.
The server was professional and swift. Not too friendly - just right. He actually (gasp!) came to the table to ask if everything was ok, while the food was still on the table! This is a rare thing in Berlin and shows particular excellence.
The prices were fair, not cheap or expensive.
This is our new go-to restaurant.... I almost don't want to leave a review, because this place needs to be a well kept secret!

The staff seemed very stressed u0026 busy, so service slow. They served a large beer without asking what size we wanted. Lasagna too much meat, not really vegetables. Difficult to leave the restaurant as everything was blocked. So overall it could have been better. But the location is nice. Perhaps need more staff.
