The modern centre of Berlin dominated by skyscrapers and shopping malls. The antithesis of the gritty subversiveness of Mitte. Could be anywhere with the same branded outlets you see in other developed economies. The architecture makes it interesting.

Liked this Arkaden, it has the best gelato place in all of Berlin. Made fresh with wide selection of flavors. Nice specialty shops and good food court downstairs. Campen and Mandarin Duck available here.

Pretty nice spot for shopping! The selection isn't huge but I feel like this isn't as crowded as other places I've been too... Wish I had gone earlier! FYI I remember that they have TK maxx, Mango and other first necessities ????. It's also very easy to park your car on the street close by, easier than one would think considering the central location of this mall! Both times I got lucky though.

It is a huge and beautiful shopping center with so many different shopping options from clothes to foods to books and other items. Some parts of it have been under construction for so long and it is causing it to not use its full potential but I guess it is always a good choice for shopping with reasonable prices and all in all it is a nice shopping experience.
