Very rude staff, tiny hotel room. Be aware you need to pay 3 euros for a 0.3 ml bottle of water in your room which all proper hotels give you for free as a compliment. If you need to check in even 1 hour earlier you need to pay 15 euro extra even if rooms are already available. I strongly recommend finding another place in order to save your peaceful vacation in Berlin.

The hotel staff was very strict about the check-in time which led to a number of guests waiting in the lobby for an hour. However, after we checked in we had a really good experience. The receptionist the next day was helpful and friendly. The breakfast is good.

Disappointed honestly. Location is cool as close to the train / tram / metro .
Room are so small , hardly the space to put one backpack on the floor ( no wardrobe) . If you are a couple forget about it . Oppressing too as windows doesn’t open , no fresh air .
Surrounding is dodgy as there is homeless sleeping close to lobby and use the entrance as toilet .
Noisy too as train line is Just under building
You can find cheaper in better area with wider space ( room in a backpacker hostel for example)

Rooms were small but probably reasonable for the area/price. Nice to have air conditioning but I'm not actually sure that it worked under 24 degrees. Staff were very friendly and helpful but some of the rules were weird, like not being allowed to take breakfast back to your room (and one of the staff asked me if I actually planned on eating what I took). Good location - right at the U-Bahn/Frankfurter Allee, shopping center underneath, plenty of food and grocery stores within a 5 minute walk. The decoration in the rooms was a bit ugly but they definitely had an aesthetic. It's always nice to have sparkling water on tap.

+ Really good room for this price. Can get a free drink voucher if you don‘t need room cleaning. Friendly staff.
- There are always some sketchy people
gathering in front of the hotel entrance

Overall a good place to stay but a little surprised they don’t give you the normal toiletries you expect in a hotel, only soap that was a all in one kinda thing. It was a bit expensive based on that but I enjoyed my experience as the hotel is very laid back and modern. Breakfast is decent.

One of the best gems in all Berlin. Quiet, clean, great staff, comfortable beds, hip design, decent breakfast, internet that never drops and a tv chromecast that actually works. Will definitely return!
edit1: chromecast isn't working anymore, kind of a bummer.
edit2: price tripled in just a couple of months, facilities are exactly the same. not worth it anymore.
