Probably the best hike I've ever gone to. Awesome atmosphere, soothing and relaxing sounds, a nice little beach to sun bath, a tiny zoo and the two most iconic trees of Berlin. If you're looking to pay a visit you should take someone with you, hiking alone can be scary.

Hiked 17 km with friends on a great summer day in this beautiful forest! Being out there in the nature once in a while is very refreshing! Seeing different kinds of landscapes, beautiful trees and the sunset rays penetrating the forest’s roof was breathtaking! There is also a lake there where you can hangout with your kids or pets! There was a wild pig sanctuary that we discovered there by chance then we ended the day by visiting the oldest tree in Berlin “Dicke Marie”

It was my first time to walk in Berlin Forest. The experience was good especially that it's still spring and the forest looks like it's never ending...
But the most memorable experience for me is, I had a chance to see and embraced the oldest Tree in Berlin the "Dicke Marie" its just amazed me, if the Tree could only talk, I would ask, how was Berlin before it became Berlin.
Definitely we're going back to the Berlin forest again.
During that day, we have also seen 2 Deers running across the path way..
Berlin forest is a nice place to walk with family.

Very pretty and very nice access to lake. Great for families and friends. Possibility to park as well

Great place for a nice stroll. Usually not too many people. Very lovely in the summer, even for a swim. Lake is frozen in the winter. Hard to find a parking spot but there’s that animal place where you can park.
