Sitting on the platform on the water on an island and enjoying the serenity of the lake comes second to none. Probabely one of the most romantic places in Berlin, when they start bringing the candlelight to each table at dawn.
Even the food is good and the service very attentive.
What more can you ask for?

Fantastic. Staff is extremely attentive, experienced, and friendly. Entire restaurant only seats 25-30 ppl. Make reservations early. We ordered a 3 piece menu. For a table for 2 (with wine) expect to pay around €100; was worth every penny.

We decided to visit the restaurant for a small bite to eat on a Thursday morning, and we were all very glad we did. The restaurant was just opening for lunch and we (the four of us) sat on a table outside by the Havel lake area.

The waiter arrived after a short time and provided us with the menus and left us to decide. He shortly returned and took our order after describing (in English as well as German) the details of some of the desserts we had ordered. He was smart enough to inform one diner, me, that my order would take approximately 10 minutes more to arrive than the other diners, so I changed my mind so as that we could all eat together.

We ordered 3 kaiserschmarrns and one apple tarte with caramel and cassis foam.

The kaiserschmarrns were absolutely fantastic! Light, textured on the outside, but soft in the middle and beautifully cooked. The plums were fresh and flavourful and melted in your mouth.

The apple tart was slightly overwhelmed by the sheer amount of cassis foam and could have done well with some ice cream to provide some balance of flavours, but don't let that stop you having one yourself. Overall a great dish and nothing went to waste.

We will certainly be visiting this restaurant again to sample the lunch and evening dishes, but if you want to try a little sampler first, then head over there for some dessert and coffee as you WILL NOT be disappointed.

5 stars all the way. Excellent service and even better food!

Die Insel Eiswerder ist wunderschön. Im Stilbruch kann man wunderbar an weiß gedeckten Tischen am Wasser speisen. Die Karte ist übersichtlich, aber alles wird frisch zubereitet und ist sehr lecker. Der Service freundlich und aufmerksam. Preis Leistung stimmt. Parkplätze sind knapp und man muss dann mal ein paar Meter laufen. Wir haben vor der Brücke geparkt.

Ich möchte es nicht zu lang machen.. Alle Gäste, der Konfirmand und wir Eltern sind sehr zufrieden. Zu jedem Zeitpunkt wurden wir höflich und professionell vom Kellner Thomas bedient. Vom Begrüßungsschaumwein zur Vorspeise übers Buffet zu den Desserts - Wirklich spitze ! Danke auch an Tobi den Koch. ++Unvergesslich++ Als Überraschung und Abkühlung wurde ein Eiswagen organisiert.
