One of the few remaining authentically Friedrichshain bars. Good beer, great barmaid. German only (of course), good for watching ice hockey or football, or for playing pool. Not to everyone's taste, but excellent if you're looking for the opposite of a hipster bar, and you don't mind smoke.

It was a disappointment. They proposed us this place to watch a football game, so we went there. Filthy atmosphere, with no ventilation, full of smoke and the TVs were tiny. For nonsmokers like me this is a no-go place. The only positive I can say is that they served tasty draught Porter beers.

Great little local bar. The staff are always really warm and friendly and patient with our broken German. We walk by every evening with our dog and they always come out to give him a little pet and a treat.

Great little pub, the woman who served us, the lady of the house, was great fun had an air of no nonsense that lended to the classic German pub vibe, but she warmed to us as the night went on and shared a few laughs with us. Lovely spot for a match.

Cool little local. Bar ladies are always friendly. Note: they don't speak English in here. You can play pool (Billard) but the white ball is much bigger than the rest of the coloured balls so it's difficult to have a decent game. You can watch various sports here, too.
