Tried the catfish on the recommendation of a German friend. Was warned by a fellow American that it didn't taste like the catfish from home. Okay, that, but it was absolutely delicious with a lemon-butter-herb marinade, so I will be purchasing it again! Happy to support a local fish producer.

Cancelled my Stadtfarm veg box because the produce was limited and not always fresh (spinach was already wilting when it arrived yesterday). Realized it's better to take our 20 euros to the local market once a week - we get way more there for our money and can choose better produce.

Very quaint in a quiet area of Lichtenberg (very Nice bike ride from Frankfurt Alle past the cemetery). High quality produce from their green house and other vendors and wild game. You can see a bit of the hydroponics and the green houses.

Small weekend market with local food, dishes and coffee. They grow local fish in tanks in an eco system with salads. African catfish, used to narrow environment, and the only fish recommended by WWF which is not really endangered.
