Well they do have a range of Indian groceries but you can’t trust them on quality. Also they do change your ordered products as per their wish and later you won’t get your desired product.

Here is the picture of the “Fresh Thepla” which got delivered to me.

Very unreliable and dishonest store. Writing this post because it has got to do something with the Health of people. Horrible experience with Spice Village.

Spice Village sold us expired products/Just due for expiry ("Best before" date) as free products and trying to earn the goodwill of people at the cost of health of us customers. The expiry date ("best before" date) on the boxes of sweets (free gift which we never asked for) had been covered with a white paint but the date was still visible beneath the paint, when seen very closely. The delivery came on 01.09.2022 and the expiry date hidden beneath the paint ("best before" date) was 04.09.2022 (24 ladoos within 3 days for 2 people which is obviously not possible to finish). Moreover, the fact that they tried to remove the date with a paint clearly shows that their intention was not right and they intended that we eat the ladoos even after the "best before date".

In the past too, spice village used to send us products (paid products that we had ordered) which were just within a very short due date of expiry, but we chose to forgive them every time. However now it's time to speak up, since this time they crossed the limit by removing the expiry date, which clearly shows their intention to misguide customers. The also replaced some of our products in the past with similar random products without informing us. Every time we need to tally each and every product in the delivery box with our ordered list and very often, there are
issues in the order. We just cannot trust them.

Many times there are bugs in their online website where if we order 1 item, 2 items get ordered for some specific items and we end up paying more for something that we do not need.

@Spice Village- you really lost our respect..

The eatery here is not really worth having except for a quick chat item. They do have quite varied Indian products and groceries. Used them more during my initial days in Berlin. Now I am ordering them online

Totally Disappointed with the items delivered. When fresh vegetables cant be delivered within certain days then please dont sell it online. The curry leaves worth 10€ is totally useless, its rot. Certain items delivered have expiry date within a month.

North Indian focused Indian Super market with variety of products from different parts of India. If your are lucky you will get fresh curry leaves from here ( as you know fresh curry leaves are the most difficult Indian spice to get in Berlin). They have a small North Indian street food Inside the super market and it is average. Taste is better than many so called Germanised Indian food places in Berlin though. Tea is very sweet and Sambar is average. Masala dosa is crispy and real. So my suggestion would be - Masala Dosa and Mango Lassi. Freshly made Laddu and sweets are also there. Friendly staff and family friendly space.

Very friendly staff and they have a huge collection of snacks. The kitchen is under renovation right now.

Ordered online, received a delicious Masala Dosa, great Idly with authentic sauces and a very yummy Samosa Chaat. In addition the order came pretty quickly and was handed over with a smile.
