Really enjoyed my dinner here. Watch out: Cash only! Very tasty and probably one of the best meals I had while visiting Berlin. My Matjes Filet was perfect! Service was fairly quick in comparison to other places and we got offered a free liquor after we finished our meal. Thumbs up!

I went to visit my friend in Berlin and I was craving some German food, here we got everything I wanted. I got a mixed plate with different types of German meats. Everything tasted fresh and was tender. Also the waitress was very nice, she had this distinctive Berlin charme ;)

The waiter was extremely rude. For some reason, it really made him upset that we were not ready to order when he showed up at the table. There was a lot of sighing and rolling eyes and a very sarcastic undertone. When we were ready, he did not understand what I was ordering and that made him visibly annoyed even more. We then waited for the two schnitzels. And waited. And waited. Other patrons, who came in after us got their schnitzel while I was told that it's perfectly normal to wait an hour and 15 minutes for a schnitzel. In a restaurant with maybe 3 full tables. Sir, I know what a schnitzel is. You don't need to tell me you need an hour to make it. When the schnitzel arrived, it was ok. Not bad, not great, but definitely overpriced for what it was. All in all, I will not be going back. A sub-par dining experience.

Food was as expected but the night was clearly ruined by one of the rudest waiters we have ever experienced. A waiter abused us verbally and said we didn’t tip him. We explained this was our first time in Berlin running the marathon and was unaware of the tipping here. He proceeded to explain to us how to travel and that if we came back we wouldn’t be allowed a table. Don’t go to this place if you’re a tourist it seems.

The food was bad and too expensive. We know veal has a high price, but the meat was just overcooked so it became chewy. Everything was dripping in fat, which gave it a plain taste, like it was not seasoned. It gave us also some stomach problems. This was just disappointing German food. Oh yes we even had to pay for a glass of water from the tap. If you want good food, go for the other corners.

This restaurant was recommended to me by local friends. Unfortunately, the wait staff was terrible toy group. I guess they thought because they were high school students, they weren't good enough clients. They also sprung on me at the end of the meal that it was cash only!! They claimed that when my colleague called they told him and that it said so on the menu ( neither of which are true) based on the wait staff Alo e i would not recommend this restaurant. The food was average at best.

Waited hours for our order. Others who ordered later were served first. Cash only but it is Berlin. After all the wait, the food was... Okay? Bit dry.
