An old Lutheran church built on Jewish grounds. In 1964 Martin Luther King visited there and preached in front of of the east berliner GDR comunity .
About a year before his assassination.

Based on a walk-by visit. The front of the church looks great in the alley leading up to it.

The location is quiet, with lots of interesting buildings and facades in the vicinity. I would recommend making a stop for a while.

The church has an interesting history, with ties to the Jewish community from it's inception (and there's a nice Jewish cemetery next to it). And the whole area is nice. But it's just an ordinary church, with nothing extraordinary to see).

Very atmospheric church that has been restored and maintained brilliantly. The surrounding area is very moving, mostly dedicated to the jewish victims of the Holocaust. The buildings have been left woth bullet holes and war damage over them, only adding to the history seen and felt in this area.
