Very good and authentic Indian restaurant. Large selection of delicious meals, friendly staff and reasonable price. I'm coming here each time I travel to Berlin. If you're in the area, definitely check them out.

We tried the Shaan for the first time last night and the cuisine was great, freshly cooked very tasty and well presented. The waiters were attentive and service overall was good. The restaurant looked to have been recently decorated with new menu card and new food items .Overall a good meal and great value we will certainly be going back. Great food and service, would highly recommend.Everything perfect. Such friendly staff????????????

If you are looking to experience indian food please avoid this restaurant ... I genuinely didn't realise it was possible to fail at cooking a papadum but I have now witnessed such a thing. In a city filled with fantastic flat breads I would recommend not ordering the naan bread here as it may bring tears to your eyes. The curry's were not worth tasting ... Which given the quality of the ingredients is truly amazing cooking. I hope never to have that skill.

Big portions. The food is not bad, but the restaurant itself is not so cozy. Thus, many people decide to ask for it to go.

My first time in indian restaurant and I'm impresed. Food was excelent!

They told us we can pay via card and in the end they told us we cannot pay with non-german card. We had to withdraw money from a nearby atm for 4 euros, to pay! That 4 euros would have been tip if not for this, so congrats...
Food was horrible, lamb was tallowy, tallow clearly wasn't removed. I asked if lamb was stew textured, they said no. It *was* stew textured. Cocktail was cheap but a mess too, I could have asked for strawberry milk with half glass of rum instead and it would have tasted the same probably.

I give a 2 not just a 1 cause athmosphere and service was nice.
