Dieser Platz in Pankow-Niederschönhausen trägt nun seit einiger Zeit den Namen der jüdischen Familie Latte. Das Ehepaar Betrieb erfolgreich bis in die 40-er Jahre gegenüber eine Firma, die Pfandflaschen und Gläser der z.B. Lebensmittelindustrie zuführte. Sie fielen leider den nationalsozialistischen Judenprogromen zum Opfer. Der Platz ist von zwei Seiten vom Gewerbegebiet und von der anderen Seite durch ein Wohngebiet umgeben.
Es befindet sich neben einigen Gewerbebetrieben auch ein Restaurant am Platz. Die Platzmitte besteht aus einer größeren Verkehrsinsel mit Bushaltestelle sowie einer Gedenktafel zur ausführlichen Namenserläuterung.
Die kleine Grünanlage hat aber wirklich schon bessere Pflege erhalten.
