We waited long for our food. We ordered a flat white and hot chocolate: weren't really good or delicious. Then waited long for a bread, chocolate bread and 2 ahornsirup pancakes.
The pancakes were more omelettes and they made them with way too much egg. It is nice though that they come with some fruits. The bread was good.
The only really good thing was the interior, which was cosy.

Best breakfast choices ever. The prices are really good and the stuff is really polite. There is also a Sparkasse automatic machine inside.

Great food here, if you get it at the right time. Or more specifically, it's much better early in the morning. It's let down a little by some slightly grumpy staff, but that only seems to be when I take away. They have a nice area out the back that surprised me with its size. It does have a lot of kids there, and some toys etc for the kids. The rolls are a step above the norm, and the range of quiches are good, if a little heavy. Highly recommended if youre in Helmholtz platz in the morning. Probably the best bakery on the square.

Never going back to this cafe again. Today in this cafe we discovered an ugly green and white layer of mould underneath a piece of cake that we ordered. We entered to give the piece back and claim. The attendant was very rude and she gave us a new piece from another cake for the person I was with and then she offered a new piece for me, but of course I didn't want another one. As I had eaten the whole piece without noticing anything she said that I had a piece from the new cake and that they replace the cakes everyday. She was very rude during the whole process. Can you believe that a piece of cake that was covered in green and white mould is replaced everyday? I don't. Very disappointed.

Great place ! Super tasty breakfast, fair prices and all staff was really friendly :))
Definitely recommend!
