We’ve been here twice. Second time we weren’t allowed to “just” have a beer here. “Because of the time we went in.” The only reason we went here for the 1st and 2nd (and also the last) time was that we couldn’t find any place to have a beer around here besides this one. The staff is rude. Like seriously, very poor manners. Interior is probably from 1936, when they started their business. But don’t be fooled, prices are from 2022 for sure. 2 stars for beer, which was not bad 2 years ago. I cannot guarantee, how it tastes now, because last time we weren’t allowed to taste it. I have no idea how this place can operate for so long time. Tourist oriented restaurant with low standards and very poor communication skills. Not worth stepping by.
Reaction to response of the owner: Dear Mr. or Mrs., thank you for your kind reaction. Firstly, I write these reviews only for other customers like me and I mean no disrespect to the place I review. I’m trying to make reviews as objective as possible. Secondly, in the case of your restaurant the situation happenned as described above. But since I sense distrust or misinterpretention in your comment, let me be more specific. We came in on Saturday before 7 pm (19:00). Your opening hours are 12 pm - 12 am. We came in long time before the closing time at your place. Waitress asked as about reservation. We said we don’t have any. Afterwards she said to follow her to the table and asked us sth about menu. We said that we’re good and would like just to have a beer / drink. The reaction of the waitress was “no”, “at this time not”. No sorry nothing just get out. She kicked us out just with above mentioned 5 words. Her attitude was super rude and unprofessional. I’m writing this with no hard feelings and no aim to hurt you or your restaurant. I gave your place 2 stars for drinks we had 2 years ago and not 1 star as many customers would do in my place. Your restaurant is not welcoming everyone as you are trying to claim in your comment. Definitelly we were not welcome. I wish you the best to run your business as well as you are managing responses to comments of your customers.
