Buffet brunch is just ok. There are better places around. The serving area was way too dark and even though some things were good, many were just mediocre.

I was here for brunch on a Sunday. There was a decent selection of food for a very reasonable price - approx. 8 euro including coffee or tea. However, the quality and freshness of the food was very bad. It seemed that the food was lying around for quite a while - dry cheese and ham. The warm food smelled funny and not fresh at all. The bread was quite dry as well. One star for the friendly staff...

Great variety of delicious food, everything freshly prepared. The last time we were at Schäfer, we ordered Burgers and they were finger licking good. On Sundays they have a all-you-can-eat buffet for brunch which is simply amazing. Best in town.

They took too long to bring the food. The coffee was already cold. The omelette was amazing

No idea how we got here, but it was very tasty! It takes quite a long time to get your dish not to mention before they take your order.. But the friendliness and quality of the food all make it up for that. I had the 'bun cha' (bun thit nuong) which is my favorite Vietnamese dish and you could tell the meat was not just heat up from the microwave, its authentic flavor makes you feel like you are melting away in the sun while chopsticking your dish away on the streets of saigon (the people are from the north I guess but same difference right, jk!). I also got the avocado yoghurt, which isn't similar to the VN avocado smoothies as they added yoghurt. It tastes a bit sour, different but good. Oh and before I forget, the rosewine is great and somehow you get a glass as big as your head filled with probably 2 glasses of a normal one.
