Really enjoyed this place. Quirky concept selling very high quality tinned fish served as a full meal with salad and bread. We ordered a side of fries which were a real highlight. The wine was excellent too and so is the setting. The owner is an absolute gentleman, talked us through the concept of what they are doing there. I felt sorry for the waitress, she was rushed off of her feet but sadly it’s a sign of the times, there’s a staff shortage everywhere. Give this place a go, it’s great.

A really nice concept of serving high quality tinned sardines as main dish. An amazing owner who makes you feel appreciated. There's some room to grow in wine selection tough.

A really fun and wonderful experience. Great service and the food and wine is top notch. Atmosphere is very cozy filled wit many regulars. A reservation is highly recommended.

My husband and I went this past Saturday for dinner. We are already big lovers of canned fish and seafood since being introduced to them on our travels to Spain and Portugal. We were suprised to see such a restaurant in Berlin. It did not dissapoint. We learned a couple of things from the young man who works there, which allowed us to try aged sardines and warm sardines. They even had cod from one of the companies that we tried in Lisbon. The drinks, the wine, the salad and the bread was great as well. Great meal and great service. It is nice to see such a different type of restuarant in Berlin.

This place rules. Super cozy space. I love the ceiling! The sardines are the star of the show. Dozens of producers, normally with quite of variety of vintages from each producer. The drinks are delicious. Good wine selection and a few beer offerings. The staff is friendly and eager to share their knowledge.

I got a 50 Euro voucher as a gift to use in this store. After having received my order at home, I noticed that one one the items' validity date had expired. I sent them an email with a photo of the product's label and they said they would send me a voucher with the same amount the product had costed. I asked them if they couldn't simplify and just send me the item, but with a valid expiry date. To this email I had NO ANSWER, which is simply appalling, since they sent me a product that was potentially harmful to consume. I got the voucher but I found out I couldn't order the same product because they were now asking me to pay extra shipping fees. I thought that this was so ridiculous, so I just ordered a random, cheaper product.
A business that sells foodstuffs and sends potentially rotten products to a customer should do what they can to compensate for the mistake. This is simply a breach of trust in what should be a pilar in this sort of business.

This little place feels like it is made for a catch up with a close friends or two. Really relaxed atmosphere and bite-sized food to snack away on.
I thought this would be an easy order because: “Hey, how many Sardines can there be!?”... After skipping through the 5,6 pages of mouthwatering options for the first time I admittedly was a wee bit surprised.???? Luckily the staff was very supportive and we were able to get an order in. ???? Make sure you try at least one of the ‘warm’ options when you are giving this a go. ????????
