The Samurai Museum in Berlin was definitely one of the best museums i have ever been when it comes to quality and efficiency.

Every display box has an interactive touch screen which describes and explains the object inside the box. I haven't seen that anywhere and it makes the whole experience so much better!

It was very interesting and entertaining. The shop next at the entrance had many made in China things, which made me not to buy anything.

You should definitely visit the museum, it's definitely worth!

It's a lovely place to visit in the summer! Modern and thoughtfully curated. In many ways, the museum appears to care about conservation. And, despite my lack of interest in samurai, I found the fox tests in the interaction stands entertaining! ????

Extremely exceeded our expectations. Beautiful museum with fantastic UX. You can enjoy it by reading all the text, or just by contemplating its exhibits purely as esthetically pleasing objets d'art – both options are very enjoyable. Sometimes the lights automatically shine on the exhibit you are looking at, making it easy to focus. It's full of small secrets, like the hand fans (a lovely idea, which I don't want to spoil). Every twenty minutes there was a short hologram concert, and the quality of the sound was amazing. The collection itself is rich and interesting, but not overwhelming. Oh, and the museum store is really cool! Overall, a delightful experience, our most enjoyable museum visit in Berlin. Kudos to the people who made it!

Oh, and contrary to what some people wrote, the air conditioning is top notch for Berlin, it gave us very helpful respite - we were visiting during the recent heatwave.

The most modern museum in Berlin so far!!
It's not only about samurais but also Japan history.
The english guided tour in English was perfect. Don't miss this !

This is one of the most amazing and interesting museum I have ever been to! The staff is super friendly and welcoming, the exhibition is impressive and the way everything is done super interactive with the newest technology is just impressive! We found some digital installations which simply let our jaws drop- highly recommended! They also offer very good guided tours in English.

Great museum. Very interactive. The collection is more about the samurai and ruling classes.

Only complaint is that the lives of general population wasn't part of the museum's collection or their focus.

On the long night of museums, it was very stuffy! Otherwise perfect in every other aspect. The museum shop has some examples of good design.

Amazing museum! Lots of interactivity and information. Everything is translated to English. Very much recommended for children and adults.
