I can hardly believe that we had eaten a full breakfast at our hotel on a Saturday morning, yet when we saw this place as it was opening during a walking tour of Karl-Marx-Allee, smiled at the beach furnishings being set up outside and being greeted by a friendly, inviting lady, we could not resist drinking two more excellently prepared beverages and sharing a scrumptious slice of Apfelstrudel. If I lived in Berlin, I would probably hang out regularly at an upbeat, totally chill place like this (and I'm 66 years young!)

Dessert was fresh and light, coffee was great also,
The place is a little bit crowdy so you might have to wait but, it's totaly worth it ????

WORST SERVICE WITH NO REASON.
Last Sunday, 28 Nov, I went to Saaldeck café with 3 friends hoping for a warm tea.
The café looked quite empty inside, we sat down and we ordered 2 coffees and 2 teas. After 20 minutes waiting, and many other people served on the moment at the counter, we asked where was our order. The answer of the waiter was that he could not serve us, and without giving any reason he started to argue, and then invited us, between one yell and another, to leave.
Still don't know what has happened, shocking experience.

Love love this place! I always pass by for their delicious coffee and cakes. And one time ordered some beers to take with us to the park that is there and we were trusted and served in beer glasses which I found super nice. Of course we returned the glasses when we were done. ????

We had a coffee and little snack in the afternoon at Saaldeck Café u0026 bar. There is no menu available - coffee wasn’t tasty, we also had a piece of cheesecake and a panini. Cheesecake was ‘ok’, panini was not tasty either. We would not recommend this place.

It is a really nice location but they could do better on their coffees. The team is nice though!
