3 stars for the food: the mixed appetizer (cold cuts basically) was by far the best dish. The caprese appetizer had good mozzarella but tasteless, small tomatoes that hadn’t ripened. Both pasta dishes were mediocre. The Tagliatelle Firenze: under seasoned, tomato sauce wasn’t good and the beef was over cooked and chewy. The tortellini were just ok, supermarket quality. The restaurant does offer a decent selection of Italian wines, which is nice, but the food needs quite a bit of improvement. The reason I’m giving this restaurant 4 stars is the cozy atmosphere and relatively low prices. Otherwise, definitely not the best Italian restaurant in Berlin. Just a place to have a glass of wine with some Italian style tapas on the side.

Nice restaurant in Pankow. The waiters are friendly. The taste is fine. Reasonable price. It's quite full recently. Maybe you should make reservations.

The food is very good but the service is lacking. I think they may be understaffed for the number of customers they have. I spent more time waiting to order, and then pay when I was done, then I did actually eating.

A really nice family run restaurant. Great brunch on Sundays (usually full so advisable to reserve) Could do with a bit more choice in terms of the buffet but the atmosphere and friendly service always keep up going back!

Negative: the food was tasteless and ingredients not fresh. We ordered off the daily special a pasta with chanterelles and a pizza margarita. The pasta was overcooked and undersalted, The pizza was stale and topped with old, dry Parmesan flakes. Both dishes lacked taste and seasoning.
Positive: we had a nice seat in the sun, and received one meal on the house as we didn’t eat much due to the aforementioned negatives.

High quality pasta combined with friendly and expert staff. We had a very nice evening in their cosy restaurant during our holiday in Berlin..
